Welcome to St. Aubin's Bayside Cottages in North Eastham; an historic and unspoiled portion of the lower Cape area. Established in 1955 single-handedly, by parents Marian and Armand St. Aubin, the colony grew from one rustic cottage to a collage of eleven fully furnished homes plus a playground and coin-operated laundromat. Daughters, Carol Anne and Lu St. Aubin now manage and maintain the bayside colony-perpetuating the dream of their parents. Some of their tenants boast as many as 40 plus years of vacations on quaint Turnip Field Rd. The sisters attribute the 70% annual return of their tenants to location, attractive grounds and gardens and cleanliness. They take pride in the property and look forward to greeting old friends and meeting new ones in this their 50th season.

Located at the inside of the "elbow" of the Cape, the cottage colony is conveniently close to the calm warm waters of Cape Cod Bay and the fun-filled surf of the mighty Atlantic at Nauset Light Beach or Coast Guard Beach. We have the unique opportunity to watch the sun rise over the ocean and set over the Bay in the same day. A two minute walk to our semi-private beach affords the opportunity for long walks on the sand flats at low tide, clamming, sandcastles, working on the golf swing or just sitting and reading. The safest features of the Bayside is the lack of undertow and the natural playground for the very young on the flats.

For those who prefer the rolling surf, Nauset Light, Coast Guard and Marconi Beaches are a mere ten minute drive through the National Seashore. The Seashore Park offers guided tours, a shuttle to the beach, nature and bike trails. Serious bikers can travel all the way to the tip, Provincetown or in the other direction toward Hyannis. The National Audubon Society Preserve provides walks, tours and family activities and is just five minutes away in South Wellfleet.

Carol Anne St. Aubin - Graduate of UMass and Alfred University; retired teacher teaching SAT Prep part time internationally; mother of Deborah-ex Marine now in psychology, Scott-CIA grad, chef and vice-president for Sysco Foods, California; Wendy-Cortland grad, physical education teacher in Las Vegas.
